FARM PICK-UP & DELIVERY

WEEKLY FARM PICK-UP & DELIVERY

​​At Wonderground Farm, we keep it simple. Each week, you choose exactly what you want from our online ordering system, with no pre-packed boxes or forced long-term commitments. We always harvest and bake to order, and our menu changes daily to reflect what is truly fresh in our market garden. You can place an order on the weeks you choose, so you always get food at its best, on your schedule. Pickup options are available every Friday and Saturday, with home delivery to the East Valley available Friday afternoons.

Benefits of Ordering from Wonderground Farm include:

PLACING YOUR ORDER

  • Place a pickup order directly from Wonderground Farm by ordering online! 

  • During the checkout process, you will be able to select a pickup date/time or home delivery (if you are within 10 miles of the Farm).

  • All orders require a $25 minimum (Produce, Baked Goods, and Flowers can be mixed and matched to meet this requirement - Pantry Items do not count towards the minimum). A $2 service charge is also added to each order to cover our packing and processing costs (including labor and credit card fees), ensuring we can continue to offer this service sustainably.

  • We accept several forms of payment, including all major credit cards, Venmo, Paypal, or cash.  NOTE: We DO NOT accept CASH for delivery orders.  Delivery must be pre-paid at checkout.  

  • We also always accept orders via email/text, including cash pickup orders: please include your requested items, pickup day preference, and contact information and send to wondergroundfarm@gmail.com (or text 480-323-5773), and we will follow up with confirmation and an invoice.

ON-FARM PICKUP POLICIES

DRIVING/PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • We are located in a rural county island in Gilbert,  just south of the 202 and Val Vista Rd.

  • Take Val Vista to either Ocotillo Rd or Appleby Rd.   If you are entering off of Ocotillo, turn left on 156th St.  If you are entering from Appleby, turn right on 156th St. 

  • The turn-in for Wonderground Farm is on the east side of 156th St - look for Bougainvillea Alley, turn down the private road, and head straight for the red barn and gate.  You should see our Wonderground Farm sign!

  • Once you are past the gate, feel free to park anywhere in the driveway area of our property.  If our lot is full, you can park on 156th St.

PICKUP PROCEDURE

  • Check-In: Come on your selected pickup day, and upon arrival, check in with Adam and/or Jill at the pickup table.  We will then go grab your produce order from the walk-in cooler (and any baked goods from the cottage bakery)!  

  • Cash Orders: If you placed a cash order via email, your payment is due at pickup. Please bring exact change.  We cannot guarantee that we will be able to break large bills! 

  • Extras: One of the perks of farm pickups (in addition to getting to see where your food comes from!) is that we will often have extra giveaways and free samples, as well as additional items for purchase!

  • Tours and Photography: You are more than welcome to take a look around! If we are not actively handling pickup orders, we are also happy to provide a quick tour and/or answer any questions about the farm, our farming practices, etc.  For food safety reasons, however, we do ask that you do not walk into any of the market garden plots unattended or touch any of the produce without permission.  Photography of the farm, however, is absolutely permitted and encouraged!  

 

MISSED PICKUP:

  • We will hold your order through the Friday and Saturday pickup windows.  If you are unable to pick up your order during our farm pickup window, please notify us in advance by phone (480-323-5773) or email (wondergroundfarm@gmail.com). We can try to arrange for you to pick up your order on an alternative day or you can have someone else collect it for you.  

  • Shares not picked up after the Saturday pickup window will be donated unless prior arrangements are made.  No refunds will be made for missed pickups!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

DELIVERY POLICIES​

DELIVERY PROCEDURES​

  • Location: We currently deliver up to 10 miles from our Farm, covering most of the East Valley. 

  • Fee: There is a flat $5 delivery fee for residential deliveries.

  • How It Works: Just select the delivery option at checkout and provide us your delivery address! Your order will then be harvested and packed within 24-48 hours of delivery to give you maximum freshness, quality, and shelf-life. Once prepared, orders will be held at proper food safety temperatures. We take this part very seriously!​​

  • Delivery Service: We do not outsource delivery to a third party.  All orders will be personally delivered by a member of the farm team.  If you have any questions about your order or the Farm, do not hesitate to ask when your delivery arrives.

  • Notifications: You will receive a text when your delivery is on its way (with our ETA) and an additional text when your order has been delivered.

  • Contactless Delivery: If you request contactless delivery or know that you will not be home to receive delivery, please ensure that a safe shady location (porch, garage, etc.) is designated for your order.  We will follow any specific instructions you provide.  We also recommend leaving out a cooler with ice packs if you know you will not be able to get to your order for multiple hours.  

  • Gate Codes: Please help us by providing any gate code information when you receive your delivery notification text, so we can get you your order without issue!  You are responsible for making sure the driver has all necessary information to access your residence before they arrive.

 

MISSED DELIVERIES

  • If you are unable to accept your delivery, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. We can then hold your order for pickup at the Farm.

  • Orders not accepted on the scheduled delivery day (or if we are unable to complete the delivery due to an inability to gain access to the residence) will not be redelivered and may be donated unless prior arrangements are made.  No refunds will be made in these circumstances.
