EDUCATION
EDUCATION
At Wonderground, we see the Farm as part of something bigger than food. We're committed to reclaiming how we nourish ourselves, our communities, and the land. And we believe that starts with sharing knowledge and building collective skills. Not through handouts or online videos, but with hands in the soil, on a working farm, learning alongside real experts who grow real organic food for a living.
During our immersive learning experiences here at the Farm, you'll dig into living soil, practice the same ecological no-till methods we use to grow fresh produce for our community every week, and leave with skills you can immediately apply in your gardens at home. And every class, tour, and workshop is led personally by Wonderground owner/operator Adam Dulberg, a professional market garden farmer and Maricopa County Certified Master Gardener with deep expertise in organic food production in the low desert. Whether you're a home gardener looking to grow more confidently in the desert, a parent seeking meaningful outdoor education for your kids, a homeschool co-op planning a field trip, or an organization looking for a speaker who farms what he teaches, we'd love to connect.
This season, we are offering four types of educational programming:

Hands-On Workshops for Adults and Children
Our workshops and classes bring you onto the farm for immersive, hands-on learning experiences in organic gardening, soil building, composting, baking, and more. We will also be offering masterclasses on how we grow some of our popular crops at Wonderground Farm, from tomatoes and carrots to fresh herbs and cut flowers. Each session is designed around real skills you can take home and apply in your own garden or kitchen. We will have offerings for both adults and families.
UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
